Daniel Yamun Ukang, president of the California Sudanese Lost Boys and Girls Foundation(CSLBGF), and Koor Gai, the foundation's vice president, welcome you. Our foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located in San Diego, California. With the help of John Dolan, Auxiliary Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, AZ, and Lisa Petronis, Ph.D., the San Diego Lost Boys of Sudan founded the California Sudanese Lost Boys and Girls Foundation in 2010.
Our first program provides financial help to Lost Boys and Girls pursuing degrees in local colleges and universities in San Diego area. The money helps pay for textbooks and other school materials. We appreciate those who support our educational help program and continue to do so. Thank you!
Our second program is our support to Awoda Primary School in South Sudan. The Foundation offers school supplies, uniforms, textbooks, and desks/chairs for students and teachers. We appreciate those who support our children in South Sudan and help us fulfill our mission of changing lives. Thank you!
Our Third program is the financial support we provide to the Lost Boys and Girls of Sudan in emergencies situations. Your monetary donations help alleviate the stress of emergencies like death, bills, and other financial difficulties.
Start a GoFundMe fundraiser with friends and family members and bring a life-changing impact to children in Awoda Primary School. Education is a lifetime gift. Any amount raised will buy school supplies or go towards school uniforms. Please create your account on GoFundMe, customize it, and share it with your friends and family.
Events help spread the word about our work while raising money for our mission. Sponsorships and fundraising events also allow us to put your donation to what matters most – assisting children to gain access to quality educational opportunities in South Sudan. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or want to host an event for us, please email us.
The work of Volunteers is vital to many nonprofits, and their voluntary work in the community is impactful. We welcome all volunteers to help with our fundraiser events and learn more about our work. Please join us, and together, we can change lives.
I am thankful to the lost boys and girls Foundation for supporting my education with some money to buy school books.
I appreciate the support you gave me, "Lost Boys and Girls Foundation, " to help my education journey. The funds help me buy school supplies such as a binder, excises book, and textbooks, especially this semester.
I would like to thank the Lost and Girls foundation leaders for continuously helping Lost Boys and Girls who are still struggling for an education. This is a great help for those who are not qualified for Financial Aid like me.
Sincerely, thank you for buying school supplies and uniforms for me. I was hopeless because my parents couldn't afford to buy them for me here in South Sudan. My parents and I appreciate you very much.
